Job Role:
- Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA or Hostel facility
- Tenure: One year, extendable based on performance and project needs
- Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry (any discipline), Biotechnology, M.S. (Pharma), M.Tech in Medicinal Chemistry/Process/Pharmaceutical Technology, or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
- NET/GATE/GPAT or equivalent qualified.
Responsibilities:
As a Junior Research Fellow at CIAB, your responsibilities include:
- Conducting research in the designated area of expertise.
- Participating in project development and implementation.
- Assisting in program documentation and report preparation.
- Collaborating with the research team and contributing to scientific advancements.

Application Procedure:
Interested candidates can attend the Walk-In-Interview on 30-04-2024, carrying the duly filled application form available on the CIAB website. Registration is from 09:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Ensure eligibility before applying, as ineligible candidates will not be interviewed.
Engagement Process:
Eligible candidates will undergo an interview conducted by a selection committee. Successful candidates will be considered for engagement on a fellowship/stipendiary basis.

- Completed applications, along with photocopies of all relevant educational and experience certificates, must be submitted at the time of registration at the Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB), Sector-81 (Knowledge City), Manauli P.O., S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali - 140306, Punjab, from 09:00 AM to 10:30 AM on 30-04-2024.
- All positions are based in Mohali, Punjab, but some work may be assigned to outstations as well.
- The number of positions may vary.
- Age relaxation for various categories (including women candidates) will be as per the rules of DST and other Government of India agencies.
- If no suitable candidate is found in any area, no selection will be made in that case.
- No TA/DA or other allowances will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview.
- Candidates should bring their original documents for verification and one set of photocopies (for submission) of all relevant certificates related to education, experience, publications, thesis/dissertations, etc., at the time of the interview.
- Candidates found eligible after the scrutiny of applications post-registration will be required to appear before a Selection Committee. Please note that if there is a substantial number of applicants, the Chief Executive Officer, CIAB, reserves the right to devise criteria to shortlist candidates for the interview. If necessary, a written test may also be conducted to shortlist candidates. The decision of the CEO, CIAB, to conduct a written test shall be final and binding on all parties concerned.
