Role Overview:
As a Study Start Up Associate II, you will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating clinical site investigator contracts and budgets, staying connected with investigative sites and sponsors, preparing contractual documents, facilitating the indemnification process, and serving as an internal consultant on study budgets and investigator contract processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate clinical site investigator contracts and budgets.
- Stay connected with investigative sites, sponsors, and internal personnel regarding contract status.
- Prepare contractual documents and facilitate the indemnification process.
- Act as an internal consultant on study budgets and investigator contract processes.
- Collect, review, organize, and assemble regulatory submission packages to Ethics Committees, Institutional Review Boards, and regulatory authorities.
- Interact effectively with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary authorizations/approvals.
- Forecast submission timelines and escalate issues as needed.
- Mentor and train new and junior personnel in the Study Start Up department.
Requirements:
- Background in biology, such as BAMS, Pharma, MSc Clinical Research, etc.
- Experience in a clinical research environment with specific experience in study contracts review and budget negotiation.
- Knowledge of ICH GCP and prior clinical research experience with 4-7 years’ experience in Essential Document review.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
