About the Role
As a
Medical Coding Certified Fresher at R1, you will be responsible for assigning accurate codes to diagnoses and procedures using the
ICD (International Classification of Diseases) and
CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) coding systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring medical records comply with government and insurance regulations.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, your day-to-day activities will include:

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

- Certification: Completion of a coding program with certifications such as:
- CPC (Certified Professional Coder)

- CIC (Certified Inpatient Coder)
- CCS (Certified Coding Specialist)
- COC (Certified Outpatient Coder)
