Detailed Job Description
Role: As a Trainee Research Associate in Synthesis, your key responsibilities will include:
- Synthesis, purification, and characterization of chemical intermediates.
- Delivery of small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery.
- Collaborative work in a team to drive chemistry projects forward.
Qualification:
- MSc in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related field, or M Pharma (Specialized in Organic Synthesis) with 0-1 years of project experience.
Technical and Functional Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of basic organic chemistry with mechanisms.
- Good understanding of Name Reactions & functional group transformation.
- Practical experience in thin-layer chromatography, column purification, and extraction.
- Familiarity with NMR, IR, and mass spectrometry techniques.
