Job Overview
Functional Role: Flow Cytometry & Assay Biology
Department: Biological Science
Location: Peenya, Bengaluru
Experience: 4-7 Years
Qualification: MSc, M. Pharmacy, or Ph.D. in relevant fields
Key Responsibilities
As part of the
Biological Science team, you will take on crucial responsibilities in
Flow Cytometry and
Assay Biology. This includes:
- Design and execution of multi-color/multiplex flow cytometry-based assays for various research projects.
- Decision-making related to experiment design, data acquisition, gating strategies, and thorough data analysis.
- Proficiency in cell culture, working with primary cells, and conducting biomarker assessments.
- Working with immune cells, cytokine analysis, apoptosis assays, immunophenotyping, and more.
- Expertise in performing ADCC, ADCP, and CDC assays to advance critical research studies.
- Experience in working with iPSC-derived cells is a significant plus.
- Contributing to new research project proposals and helping define project costs.
- Leading and mentoring junior staff scientists in the lab to ensure quality and productivity.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex findings clearly.
Candidate Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role should meet the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: MSc, M. Pharmacy, or Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or related fields.
- Experience: 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in flow cytometry, cell culture, immune cell assays, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with scientific research tools and processes, particularly in Flow Cytometry & Assay Biology.
