The Scientific Writing Project Specialist will play a key role in supporting the development, execution, and management of scientific publications and medical education content for Novartis' brand objectives. Working closely with a team of Scientific Writers, you’ll help ensure timely and high-quality project delivery aligned with customer expectations. This position requires you to support submission processes, compliance activities, and publication management tools while also contributing to the smooth operation of medical education programs. As part of a team that reimagines medicine, you will work on cutting-edge projects that impact patients’ lives globally.Key Responsibilities
- Provide project management support to the Scientific Writer for the delivery of medical publications and educational materials.
- Assist in creating project plans and schedules, ensuring they align with internal customer objectives.
- Facilitate compliance with Novartis’ publication processes and assist with submission, approvals, and adherence to budget guidelines.
- Use compliance tools such as Zinc and the GMA publication review process to ensure that all materials are in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Support the financial management of projects, ensuring that deliverables stay within agreed budgets.
- Help ensure adherence to compliance-related activities, approvals, and submission processes.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:- Educational Background: A degree in science or a related field is required. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant area is desirable.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in medical communications, the pharmaceutical industry, or project management.
- Project Management Skills: Experience with PMP certification or equivalent is highly valued.
