Syngene, a global leader in contract research and manufacturing services, is currently seeking a qualified Senior Research Associate for their PCO (Preclinical and Clinical Operations) team in Bangalore. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Research Associate - PCO

As a Senior Research Associate in the PCO department, you will play a critical role in supporting various research projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • In-vitro ADME Assays: Performing various In-vitro ADME assays such as plasma protein binding, metabolic stability, plasma and blood stability, cytochrome P450 inhibition, and blood to plasma ratio studies.
  • Preparation of Materials: Preparing compound stocks, buffers, media, and other necessary materials for experimental work.
  • Handling Biological Samples: Handling plasma, whole blood, and cellular and subcellular fractions such as microsomes, hepatocytes, S9, and cytosol.
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing and interpreting data to support the progression of drug discovery and development projects.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of research projects.
This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of ADME processes. You will be expected to contribute to the advancement of Syngene’s research objectives by delivering high-quality experimental data.

Qualifications and Skills Required

To be considered for the Senior Research Associate - PCO position at Syngene, you should meet the following qualifications:
  • Educational Background: M Pharmacy or MSc in a relevant field such as pharmacology, biochemistry, or life sciences.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in conducting In-vitro ADME assays.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in handling biological samples, including plasma, blood, and subcellular fractions, and familiarity with various laboratory techniques and equipment.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions that support drug discovery efforts.
  • Communication: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
