Job Summary
The Project Specialist will provide essential project management support to the scientific writing team, ensuring the effective delivery of various publication and medical education projects. This position involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, tracking project activities, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management Support
- Assist the scientific writer in managing the end-to-end delivery of publication and medical education projects.
- Initiate and amend submissions based on feedback.
- Track project activities, manage issues and risks, and ensure timely follow-up.
2. Stakeholder Communication
- Support internal and external communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with global and local scientific communication teams.
3. Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with publication processes and end-to-end publication management tools.
- Support submission and approval activities, maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.
4. Budget Management
- Manage and track external spend, including approvals, purchase orders, and goods received.
- Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and compliance procedures.
5. Team Collaboration
- Maintain effective relationships with end stakeholders within the allocated Global Business Unit.
- Lead and develop operations associates within the Sanofi Global Hub (SGH).

Qualifications
- Education: Graduate degree in science. A relevant advanced/postgraduate degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a similar discipline is desirable.
- Experience: 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in project management, scientific/medical writing, or communications within the pharma industry.
- Skills: Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Proficiency in project management tools and software applications.
