Reserve Bank of India Pharmacist Recruitment B Pharm / D Pharm The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Bhopal, is inviting applications for the part-time position of a pharmacist. Vacancy Information The RBI has announced one (01) part-time pharmacist vacancy in the Scheduled Caste (SC) category. The selected candidate will work on a contract basis for a maximum period of 240 days at the RBI’s dispensary located at the Main Office Building, Hoshangabad Road, Bhopal. Qualifications and Eligibility To be eligible for the Reserve Bank of India Pharmacist Recruitment, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  1. Educational Qualification:
    • Matriculation or its equivalent.
    • Minimum qualification of a Diploma in Pharmacy (D Pharm) from a recognized university registered under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
    • Bachelor degree (B Pharm) holders are also eligible to apply.
  2. Experience:
    • Must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council.
    • Minimum two (02) years of experience as a pharmacist. Preference will be given to those with experience in Public Sector Banks (PSBs), Public Sector Units (PSUs), or Government organizations.
    • Basic working knowledge of computers.
Job Role and Responsibilities The part-time pharmacist at RBI, Bhopal, will be responsible for various duties, including:
  • Providing pharmacy services at the RBI dispensary.
  • Ensuring the proper dispensing of medications as per prescriptions.
  • Maintaining records of medicines and inventory management.
  • Offering advice and guidance on the usage of medications to patients.
Remuneration and Conditions The selected pharmacist will receive a fixed remuneration of Rs. 400/- per hour, with a maximum of five (05) hours per day, not exceeding thirty (30) hours per week. This role does not include any additional pay, allowances, or perks. Key conditions include:
  • . Pharmacist will be paid a fixed remuneration at the rate of Rs. 400/- per hour with a maximum period of five (05) hours per day, not exceeding maximum of thirty (30) hours in a week and will not be entitled to any pay, allowance or any other perks/facilities.
  • The services rendered by the Pharmacist shall not confer on him/her any right for a temporary or permanent post in the Bank’s service.
  • The Pharmacist shall not be a regular employee of the Bank and shall not be entitled to any facilities admissible to regular employees of the Bank.
  • The offer of engagement will be for a maximum period of 240 days at a stretch and purely on contractual basis.
  • The Bank reserves the right to allocate any dispensary, at its discretion, located within the jurisdiction of Bhopal. The Pharmacist may be attached to any one or more of the Bank’s dispensary, as per the requirement of the Bank. The decision in this regard shall be final and the Bank will not entertain any correspondence in this regard.
  • The Bank shall have the right to stop utilizing the services of the Pharmacist at any time without any notice or reason thereof. VII. The Pharmacist should comply with and obey all orders and directions, which may from time to time be issued by an employee of the Bank under whose jurisdiction, superintendence and control, they are placed.
  • The Pharmacist should maintain strict secrecy regarding the Bank’s affairs and serve the Bank honestly and loyally with high integrity.
  • However, whenever necessity arises the Pharmacist shall be required to work in any of the Bank's dispensaries at Bhopal during the working hours of that dispensary and remuneration shall be paid depending upon the number of hours, for which the services of the Pharmacist shall be utilized by the Bank

  1. Application Submission:
    • Eligible candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format along with necessary documents to the Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Human Resource Management Department (Recruitment Section), Hoshangabad Road, P.B. No. 32, Bhopal – 462 011.
  2. Shortlisting:
    • Applications will be shortlisted based on educational qualifications, experience, and proximity of residence to the Bank’s dispensaries.
  3. Interview:
    • Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The Bank reserves the right to set minimum eligibility standards to limit the number of candidates for the interview.
  4. Medical Examination and Document Verification:
    • Candidates who clear the interview will undergo a medical examination and document verification before engagement.
