Job Overview
Position: Research Fellow
Project Title: Exploring the medicinal value of plant secondary metabolites through in-silico tools
Duration: Two months
Fellowship: Rs. 40,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Location: Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Nalco Square, Bhubaneswar
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Research Fellow position:
- Qualification: M.Sc./M.Pharm. or equivalent in Life Sciences or related fields such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Pharmacy, etc.
- Marks: Minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade point (50% for OBC/ST/SC candidates).
- Age Limit: Below 28 years as of 26.07.2024 (age relaxation as per Govt. of India rules).
- National Test: Must have qualified NET-JRF/NET-LS/GATE/ICAR-NET/GPAT or equivalent.
Responsibilities
As a Research Fellow at ILS, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research on plant secondary metabolites using in-silico tools.
- Collaborating with the project investigator and team members.
- Analyzing data and preparing reports.
- Contributing to the overall goals of the ICMR-funded project.
