Key Responsibilities
- Abstract Preparation: Prepare abstracts for patents in accordance with the set rules defined in the DWPI Abstracting policy document.
- Detailed Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of patents to provide accurate and editorially enhanced technical information in the form of summaries that include descriptive titles, uses, novel features, advantages, and other key information related to the invention.
- Insight Capture: Capture useful insights from patent data to generate editorially enhanced technical summaries of patent records.
- Tool Utilization: Use Clarivate-specific tools for content editing, abstraction, and curation.
- Educational Background: MSc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or B.Tech/M.Tech in Biotechnology.
- Experience: Freshers are preferred, though candidates with up to one year of experience in content abstraction or editing are also welcome.
- Additional Skills: Certification in typing, extensive knowledge about patents and drafting, and great English comprehension skills are advantageous.
