Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Data Management Specialist, you will:
Functional Knowledge:
- Developing a working functional knowledge level of coding in the context of clinical data management.
Business Expertise:
- Ability to apply working knowledge of clinical data developed through education or past experiences.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned as required
Leadership:
- Typically 0-3 years of experience in this role. An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered in place of education and experience requirements.
- Ability and willingness to be a contributing team member.
- Developing technical acumen and applying acquired knowledge to delivery requirements.
Problem Solving:
- Use existing procedures to solve basic and routine problems; analyse information and standard practices to make judgement calls. Impact: Contribute to the achievement of goals through personal effort in own work area and influence over others.
- Impact is focused on immediate delivery of tasks.
- Work is assessed regularly and under significant guidance and direction as required by developing competency.
- Interpersonal Skills: Interpret data to deliver messages. Requires objective review of work problems, obtaining cooperation or approval.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
Experience:
- 0-3 years of experience in a similar role. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience will be considered.
Skills and Competencies
- Interpersonal Skills: Interpret data to deliver messages, requiring objective review and cooperation.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze information and standard practices to solve routine problems.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
