Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to a purely temporary post as a Clinical Trial Coordinator for a short-term research project at Malabar Cancer Centre, Thalassery.
Project Details: Funding Agency: Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Govt of India Project Objective: To establish a ready network of clinical trial units across the National Cancer Grid for multicentric collaborative research in drug and device development.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for clinical trials.
- Review and perform signal management activities according to guidelines and SOPs.
- Prepare, review, and report aggregate reports (e.g., PADER, PBRER, PSUR) as per regulatory requirements.
- Oversight of in-house and outsourced PV activities, maintaining monthly compliance processes.
- Ensure compliance with quality, procedures, regulations, and consistency in all activities.
- Facilitate safety monitoring by optimizing scientific quality documentation and data entry.
- Manage ICSR activities per regulatory requirements, ensuring data accuracy in safety databases.
- Responsible for partner/vendor audit and communication for all PV activity.
- Preparation and review of Safety Data Exchange Agreements (SDEA).
- Handle Risk Management Plan (RMP) programs as per guidelines.
Essential Qualifications:
- Pharm D/ MPharm / BDS/ MPH/ MSc (Biostatistics)/ MSc Clinical Research / MSc Nursing or MSc Life Science/ BTech Biotechnology with Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research
- Experience: 1 year in clinical trials or a funded research project or Pharma-sponsored or Industry-supported trials
- Maximum Age Limit: 30 years
- Remuneration: ₹30,000/- per month
