Qualification: M.Sc. Biotechnology or Equivalent

Job Responsibility:

Experience in QC testing and release/ stability of in-process, drug substance, intermediates and finished products of viral vaccines.

Adept in various techniques in:

1. Cell culture: Handling of different types of cell culture, primary, secondary & continuous, cell banking. Cell bank characterization

2. Potency assay: Potency assay/ virus titer by different cell culture methods and other techniques

3. Molecular biology: SDS page/ Western blotting/ PCR/ RT-PCR techniques

4. Immunology: ELISA, Fluorescent Antibody Test, gel diffusion techniques/ immune-electrophoresis and HA and HAI

5. Master and working virus seed characterization

6. Preparation and calibration of reference standard and 7. Preparation of SOPs/ specification, study protocol trend analysis

8. Knowledge of QMS. Handling and investigation of OOS
